Friday the 13th proved to be a bad night for the Gators and the Roadrunners

The Friars were too wiley for Nazareth and Mother Guerrin tonight at home in the Lawless Gymnasium. The JV team won 4 of 6 matches with wins from Wise, Formato, Smyla, and Bindon.

Later the Varsity continued with two team wins. Nazareth is much improved as of late, no doubt related to the hiring of former Vittum Cats coach Dennis Laughlin and three time state champ John Starzyk.

Highlights of the night included a blistering :14 pin by senior Graham Joss, first varsity wins by sophomore Jake Konrad and freshman Jake Eccheveri, and a big win by senior Anthony Aguilar, who wrestled in his first match back from injury while wrestling up at 132.
