Fenwick Jr Mike Kozyra was not pleased with the start of his Junior season. With a loss to Glenbard West's 160lber Knowlton, he found himself 0-1 heading into his first tournament of the season.
At the 2012 Conant Tournament Mike dominated his competition culminating in a 15-5 win in the finals over Downers Grove North's Gastaldello. With this win, and a strong showing at the end of his sophomore years, Kozyra has been spotted at #10 at 160lb in the IHSA Class AA rankings released earlier today.
Kozyra and the team knows they don't give out medals in November, and he won't be satisfied until the zero from his #10 ranking is removed.
