The Fenwick Wrestling team will be hosting a food drive to support the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry. We will be collecting nonperishable goods as well as monetary donations from November 17th to November 21st. Any checks should be made out to "Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry."
Head Coach Anthony Poro is anxious to reinstate this tradition, and start many new ones. "The Thanksgiving Food Drive is something that has always been important to us. It is a great chance for us to remember what is really important in life. When we are grinding it out at practice, we like to remind ourselves that there are other people who are hurting and in need in more serious ways. This is just a small way for us to help out."
All donations will be given to the OPRF Food Pantry Wednesday before the first home meet of the year. Items can be dropped off before school and throughout first period. If you would like to schedule a drop off of either food or money, please contact Coach Poro at aporo@fenwickfriars.com
